Our Story

Welcome to Independence Leadership Academy.  Our school is located is the small city of Independence, Louisiana.  With approximately 500 students each year, we strive to dedicate our time to serving the children attending our school. Our expectations are represented each day in our morning message, and our students recite them daily. We are committed to being leaders who are respectful, compassionate and great every day in every way.  We also support Leader in Me and the 7 Habits of Kids.  They are Be Proactive, Begin with the End in Mind, Put First things First, Think Win-Win, Seek to Understand then to be Understood, Synergize and Sharpen the Saw.
