Our Story

Welcome to Independence Leadership Academy.  Our school is located is the small city of Independence, Louisiana.  With approximately 400 students each year, we strive to dedicate our time to serving the children attending our school. Our expectations are represented each day in our morning message, and our students recite them daily. Be There, Participate, Choose a Positive Attitude and Make Someone’s Day are part of our PBIS program and the FISH Philosophy.  We also support Cosmo Kids as our students SOAR in their work and attitudes.
